In 1932 the school was renamed the Grand Lycée de Dalat and in 1935 the school was named Lycée Yersin in memory of Dr. Alexandre Yersin, a Swiss-born physician who publicly gave birth to Dalat. Later, the school was renamed Hung Vuong Education Center, now Da Lat Pedagogy College, which is specialized in fostering management staffs for kindergartens, primary and junior high schools.
